We can all find ourselves in need of help at many different times in our life.

We have compiled together some list of charities and organisations that can help.

 

If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis please:

 

Serious or Life-Threatening Emergencies:

In cases of severe or life-threatening mental or physical health emergencies, please dial 999 immediately for urgent assistance. Your safety and well-being are of the utmost importance, and emergency services are ready to provide the necessary care and support.

 

For Adults:

If you, a family member, or a friend is experiencing a mental health crisis and requires assistance, please dial NHS 111 and select option 2, for mental health crisis. Trained staff are available 24/7 at the contact centre to offer appropriate support and guidance.

 

For Individuals Under 18:

If you are under 18 or if you are a family member of someone under 18 in crisis, please reach out to Southend, Essex, and Thurrock Children’s and Adolescent’s Mental Health Service (SET CAMHS) at 0800 953 0222.
