Would you notice if someone you know was struggling with their mental health?

Would you know how to react if they told you they were thinking about suicide?

As part the #TalkSuicide campaign, The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership is running FREE suicide prevention training sessions for members of the public in Scarborough. This free training lasts around 20 minutes and will include an interactive video and the chance to ask questions to a suicide prevention professional.

Learn how to:

  • Spot the signs when someone might be feeling suicidal
  • Speak out in a supportive manner about suicidal thoughts and behaviours
  • Signpost anyone struggling to the correct services and support.

Every two hours somebody in the UK loses their life through suicide. Help us to change this.

If you are a business wanting to roll this out to your staff, get in touch – we would love to hear from you. For more information please email [email protected]

Please note, this training is only suitable for people over the age of 18.
