Lets Talk About Suicide is not equipped to provide crisis intervention. If you or someone you care about is currently facing a crisis, there are essential resources available for immediate assistance:

Serious or Life-Threatening Emergencies:

In cases of severe or life-threatening mental or physical health emergencies, please dial 999 immediately for urgent assistance. Your safety and well-being are of the utmost importance, and emergency services are ready to provide the necessary care and support.

For Adults:

If you, a family member, or a friend is experiencing a mental health crisis and requires assistance, please dial NHS 111 and select option 2, for mental health crisis. Trained staff are available 24/7 at the contact centre to offer appropriate support and guidance.

For Individuals Under 18:

If you are under 18 or if you are a family member of someone under 18 in crisis, please reach out to Southend, Essex, and Thurrock Children’s and Adolescent’s Mental Health Service (SET CAMHS) at 0800 953 0222.
